Multi-tenant POS SaaS for Honduran corner stores, diners, restaurants and shops: point of sale, inventory, store credit and invoicing compliant with the SAR tax authority (CAI, atomic server-side sequences, 15 and 18 % VAT). Restaurant module with KDS, public catalogs with cart, QR menus and WhatsApp notifications. Android app on Google Play.

The hard part: the SAR has no official API. Fiscal sequence numbers are assigned server-side and transactionally. If that fails, the business cannot invoice.

I lead the technology unit of Honduras' national entrepreneurship agency: a team of 7 to 10 across development, support, data and design, reporting to the Executive Director, with five platforms in production. Migrated the infrastructure to Docker, Traefik and CI/CD on self-hosted runners: deployments went from 30 manual minutes to 3 to 5 automated ones. Built a PostgreSQL data mart and Power BI inclusion dashboards.

About
me

I've been building web applications end to end for 8 years. I started as a remote developer for a US company and today I lead the technology unit at SENPRENDE, the Government of Honduras' entrepreneurship agency, with a team of 7 to 10 and five platforms in production.

Caprolis came from seeing the same problem in every corner store and diner: inventory in a notebook, handwritten invoices and no visibility into the numbers. I designed, built and run it solo, from the POS to electronic invoicing with the tax authority. Now I am repeating the process with Fialo for informal credit.

I have consulted for the Inter-American Development Bank and for Universidad Cristiana de Honduras. I get involved from requirements through deployment and production monitoring.
